Medical Services at Huinay

Starting in 2002, the San Ignacio del Huinay Foundation allowed the Municipality of Hualaihué (the commune to which Huinay belongs) to use its launch for the transport of medical personnel who visit locations in the nearby area. This has meant an improvement in the frequency of such visits, which are now made approximately every two months.

Furthermore, the Foundation has equipped a small medical center for basic treatment in the school at Huinay.
